Watching the 2010 Emmy’s last night allowed me to momentarily fantasize that I was right there on the red carpet (sweating, not breathing, and starving) along with the star and starlets. The dresses this year were stunning and gave us a look into what will be in this fall!

Carrie Underwood will tie the knot with pro hockey player Mike Fisher on July 10, according to Life & Style Magazine! They aren’t afraid to buck tradition either. Carrie and Mike reportedly aren’t going to have a wedding cake; “We’re kind of doing cupcakes,” the country star tells CMT Radio Live’s Cody Alan. “I consider myself a very traditional person. More than anything, we’re going to get married, that’s the important part. And we want everyone to have a good time, so we’re doing some things like that, that are a little bit different.”
Underwood is ordering the cupcakes from IveyCake in Franklin, Tenn., which is run by Ivey Childers – the wife of Underwood’s bass player, Mark Childers. Ivey “makes the most amazing cupcakes in the universe,” Underwood says.
As for the honeymoon, Mike reportedly has booked an 11-day post-wedding vacation. Carrie and Mike will visit Tahitian cities Papeete and Raiatea, then continue their exotic getaway in Bora Bora!
It’s finally here! Betty White is just a day away from making her Saturday Night Live debut (May 8th, 2010 @11:30pm PST)! The 88-year-old actress will host SNL tomorrow with special guests Tina Fey, Molly Shannon, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Ana Gasteyer, Rachel Dratch, and musical guest Jay-Z.
Betty says she may be sharing the stage with Jay in a sketch or two this weekend! “Jay-Z has 99 problems,” she joked with Jimmy Fallon, “but this b—h ain’t one of ‘em.”
