Rid the Raccoon

Detox Eye Roller

Every find yourself looking in the mirror and the reflection looks something like a raccoon? A few too many glasses of wine, a bad dream, or anxiety dreams can make you toss and turn at night and the effect isn’t pretty. Dark circles plague tons of us and we are always looking for thicker concealers, lotions, potions, vegetables, and such to cure our under-eye blues.

First Aid Beauty Detox Eye Roller is here to save the day (and our delicate skin). A metal roller ball that gently distributes lymphatic build-up from underneath the eyes, alleviating under eye puffiness and dark circles.

What It Does:
The Detox Eye Roller gently distributes lymphatic build-up from underneath the eyes, which revitalizes, smoothes, and brightens the eye area. It contains caffeine, a potent vasoconstrictor that constricts the fine blood vessels that cause dark under eye circles and within minutes of application, the appearance of the under eye area is improved with more dramatic results over time. Hyaluronate and advanced peptides recapture lost volume and increase collagen production to reduce fine lines. Witch hazel protects and soothes the very delicate skin under the eye and the FAB Antioxidant Booster combats free radicals.

Buy It: Sephora
Cost: $24.00

Denim Shirt Fashion

Just like plaid, Denim Shirts are back in style. For me, this is an extra special cyclical fashion trend because denim shirts were one of my favorite fashion pieces in the 80′s and early 90′s. Denim Shirts and Hoop earrings have been my fashion resurggence wishes and now they have both come true. Denim shirts give an air of western edge, non-nonsense fashion statement and a feminine cut to keep people guessing.

The same rules apply from the early 90′s, don’t pair the denim shirt with the same colored denim jeans, don’t tuck your denim shirt into your pants (leave it hanging) and try to stay away from any accessory that is western or country by definition. You don’t want to end up looking like you just rolled in from the ranch. Your best best for a denim shirt are to keep it tailored (nothing too big or too small), pair them with leggings or skinny jeans, and be daring when you wear the denim on top. Pair your denim shirt with sequins, silk, lace or anything sheer. As I’ve stated before, you want to pair edgy, hardy fabrics with their opposing fabrics. I like to call this the Hard-Soft effect.
